Coronavirus

CORID-19 UPDATE
As from 24th March 2020 you will not be allowed to share the field with your friends. I am sorry, it’s not my fault, but I totally agree with what has just been announced and plan to do my best to implement it.
As people are allowed out for one form of exercise per day, I believe I am allowed to keep the field open (please private message me if you think I have got this wrong). I am taking every precaution to sanitise all touchable surfaces more than once a day and am leaving the main gate open during the day to save everyone having to touch the keypad. The only thing you will need to touch is the field gate. Please wear gloves. Please bring your own toys and remember to take them home with you. Please use your own poo bags if you do not want to take one from our dispenser.
PLEASE PAY ONLINE AT TIME OF BOOKING OR MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS.
Only families from the same household can attend at any one time. The most I will allow is two adults from the same household and their own children (of course dogs too!). I will request you leave if I see otherwise.
DO NOT COME IF ANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO SELF ISOLATE OR ARE SHOWING ANY SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS.
I do not want to promote unnecessary travel but do want to promote a safe (as safe as I can possibly make it) secure and exclusive dog exercise area.
If you already have a booking made and do not fall into the above requirements, please contact me for a full refund.
If I have to come out to meet you, I will respect the required social distance rule and times it by 10! Please respect my space also and do not think I am being rude.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to phone me.
Take care everyone and stay safe.
Debbie & Dolly 🐾

Slots closed – sorry

Unfortunately, it’s very muddy over the field owing to the constant rain. I have therefore closed all bookings until at least Friday 27th Dec. If you have an appointment booked already and would like to cancel, please let me know.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

PLEASE CAN ALL NEW CUSTOMERS PAY ONLINE AT TIME OF BOOKING

PLEASE CAN ALL NEW CUSTOMERS PAY ONLINE AT TIME OF BOOKING
Over the past few days I have been let down 5 times with new bookings not showing up or cancelling at the last minute without paying. I know it is only £6 to you, but to me and a small business, it can make all the difference between being able to offer a good service and nice field (without putting my prices up) or not.
My website mentions this on numerous occasions, as do our terms and conditions (which you agree to at time of booking).
The terms and conditions also state that I need 24hr cancellation notice please.
Sorry for the moan and thank you for your understanding.

Playdates cancelled – Play Mate Finder on FB up and running

Unfortunately, owing to the poor weather we have been experiencing lately, it has become apparent that the field cannot cope with playdates for the time being. Whilst it is totally fine for exclusive hire, too many dogs charging around at once just isn’t safe on the slippery ground.
As I know many of you like to socialise your friendly fur babies with others in the secure environment at Dolly’s Dog Field, I have decided to set up “Play Mate Finder”.
Please join our group and add you

r request (maybe photo of your pooch too) or reply to any other posts that may already be on there. You can then either chat or message each other direct and hopefully arrange a good play session with like minded people and their woofs.
Booking can be made at www.dollysdogfield.co.uk or please message me for assistance.
4 dogs max please and double session (70 mins) required.
Hope to welcome you all soon.

Playdates will resume again in the spring or sooner if we get nicer weather. Dates will be announced on FB and our website

Timekeeping – reminder

Polite reminder – please ensure that you leave the field on time at the end of your appointment. Likewise, please make sure you do not arrive in the car park any earlier than five minutes before your appointment starts. Please also stay in your car until the previous person has left.
There is a ten minute gap in between customers to ensure dogs do not meet. Many of the dogs who visit Dolly’s Dog Field are reactive to the point that they do not even appreciate another car pulling into the vicinity.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Polite request

Pretty please, when visiting the field, can everyone leave the tyres where they are. The one in the middle of the field is to cover a hole that I keep filling but keeps getting dug out again. It could be dangerous if a dog is running around quickly and goes down it. The ones by the paddling pool are to hopefully stop as much mud being taken into the pool.
Thank you very much for your co-operation
