Playdates cancelled – Play Mate Finder on FB up and running

Unfortunately, owing to the poor weather we have been experiencing lately, it has become apparent that the field cannot cope with playdates for the time being. Whilst it is totally fine for exclusive hire, too many dogs charging around at once just isn’t safe on the slippery ground.
As I know many of you like to socialise your friendly fur babies with others in the secure environment at Dolly’s Dog Field, I have decided to set up “Play Mate Finder”.
Please join our group and add you

r request (maybe photo of your pooch too) or reply to any other posts that may already be on there. You can then either chat or message each other direct and hopefully arrange a good play session with like minded people and their woofs.
Booking can be made at www.dollysdogfield.co.uk or please message me for assistance.
4 dogs max please and double session (70 mins) required.
Hope to welcome you all soon.

Playdates will resume again in the spring or sooner if we get nicer weather. Dates will be announced on FB and our website

Timekeeping – reminder

Polite reminder – please ensure that you leave the field on time at the end of your appointment. Likewise, please make sure you do not arrive in the car park any earlier than five minutes before your appointment starts. Please also stay in your car until the previous person has left.
There is a ten minute gap in between customers to ensure dogs do not meet. Many of the dogs who visit Dolly’s Dog Field are reactive to the point that they do not even appreciate another car pulling into the vicinity.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Polite request

Pretty please, when visiting the field, can everyone leave the tyres where they are. The one in the middle of the field is to cover a hole that I keep filling but keeps getting dug out again. It could be dangerous if a dog is running around quickly and goes down it. The ones by the paddling pool are to hopefully stop as much mud being taken into the pool.
Thank you very much for your co-operation

Housekeeping

Just a few things to be mindful of please when using Dolly’s Dog Field :-
1. Many of the dogs that use the field are reactive in one way or another. If you arrive early for your appointment and the field is in use, please park as far away as possible to enable them to carry on enjoying their time in there.
2. For the best part, the field is still in good condition, but is starting to get muddier than I would like. Please wear appropriate footwear, use the path provided to walk onto the field and try not to wallow too much in the muddy areas. I really don’t want to have to close the field in the wet weather or to get it re-seeded so your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
3. For crying out loud please pick up your dog’s poo!
Thank you

Payment

As per our booking page request, we would be grateful if all new customers could pay online at the time of booking please. This is a polite request and is unfortunately due to the fact we have been let down so many times in the past with no shows. Obviously, if 24hr cancellation notice is given, a full refund will be issued.
Regular customers can continue to use the cash on arrival option if so wished.
Many thanks for your understanding.
